Au Naturel Spa is housed inside Brookstreet Hotel at 525 Legget Drive in Kanata. That location matters more than it might seem.

As a hotel spa, it has the physical infrastructure that independent day spas rarely can match: two pools (one indoor, one outdoor), a sauna, hot tubs, a full fitness facility, and direct access to Perspectives Restaurant, which is one of Ottawa's most decorated dining rooms. You're not just booking a treatment. You're booking into a full wellness environment for the duration of your visit.

It's also fully licensed. Wine and spirits can be ordered as part of your day. Not every spa in Ottawa can say that.

Massage Therapy at Au Naturel Spa

If you're not sure where to start, the Au Naturel Relaxation Massage is the default. It uses flowing strokes and moderate pressure across the whole body. Sessions run from 30 for $100 to 90 minutes for $180 but for most first-timers, 60 minutes is usually enough. There's also an aromatherapy option that works essential oils into the session based on your preferences. The scent element is subtle, but it tends to pull the whole session somewhere calmer than bodywork alone usually reaches.

Deep Tissue works at a different level. Pressure goes into the muscle layers and connective tissue beneath the surface, making it the right call if you're dealing with chronic tension or something a relaxation massage can't quite reach. Be upfront with your therapist about how much pressure you can handle before they start. It can be uncomfortable, and a good therapist would rather know your threshold than guess.

The Italian skincare brand Comfort Zone is the facial treatment of choice for Au Natural Spa. Our estheticians receive hands on training directly from Comfort Zone meaning the treatments are genuinely tailored rather than simply being a product applied with one standard technique. These facials address specific skin concerns such as hydrating options for dry skin or antioxidant treatment options for uneven tones. Body Treatments: Vichy and Beyond

Body scrubs are available to work through exfoliation and preparing the skin to better respond to the treatment that follows. If you're setting up a spa day pairing a body scrub with your facial or massage often leads to much better results than either on its own. The Vichy shower is another treatment that takes the body scrub even further with overhead jets delivering a controlled warm water treatment across your whole body while you lie flat on a treatment table. This format has European roots and often uses mineral spring water to help soothe the skin during the body scrub. Hand and foot treatments are also available as either a standalone booking or as part of a longer spa visit.

Manicures and Pedicures

Every service includes either a glass of wine or a non alcoholic beverage with treatments taking place in a relaxing and dedicated spa environment. Every Au Naturel Spa booking includes complimentary access to the Flex Fitness Studio which includes a gym, private sauna, hot tubs, indoor pool, and a seasonal outdoor pool. Before You Book

The spa asks all guests to arrive ahead of their scheduled appointment to allow for intake and preparation. If you arrive late, your treatment still ends at the original scheduled time so the next guest isn't delayed. Group bookings of five or more require 48 hours notice.
