What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are available for an additional fee.

Is there parking on-site?

Yes, Brookstreet has a heated underground parking garage with self-parking at $15.95 per night and valet at $24.95 per night and both include in/out privileges. There's also an outdoor surface lot if you'd prefer. 

Is the hotel pet-friendly?

It certainly is, with a $25 per pet, per night non-refundable fee and a $250 refundable deposit collected at check-in where you'll also sign a pet policy waiver. Master Suite guestrooms are the one category pets can't access with everything else is open.

Is Wi-Fi included?

You get complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, including your room. 

What's the cancellation policy?

Standard reservations need to be cancelled by 4:00 PM the day before arrival (24 hours out) to avoid a penalty. Bookings that include anything from Au Naturel Spa, Perspectives Restaurant, or the Marshes Golf Course have a 48-hour cancellation window instead. 

Is there a pool?

There is an indoor saltwater pool that comes with a hot tub and children's wading pool right next to it. Outside there's an even larger 30 foot saltwater pool and 12 person hot tub.

What's the spa situation?

Au Naturel Spa features thirteen treatment rooms, a team of registered massage therapists and trained estheticians, and a full menu of massages, facials, body wraps, and couples packages. The spa also has its own pool access and a menu drawn from Perspectives Restaurant.

Is breakfast included?

Not by default however Perspectives Restaurant serves breakfast daily. Real food, made properly, with ingredients sourced from local Ontario producers and Ottawa Valley farms. Some packages include breakfast, so if that matters to you, look for those when you book.

What dining is on-site?

Perspectives Restaurant is the anchor featuring contemporary Canadian cuisine that's locally sourced and award-winning in the ways that actually mean something. It runs breakfast through dinner with in-room dining available.

There's also a live jazz bar at the hotel at Options Jazz Lounge. This restaurant offers a less formal way to enjoy your meal without sacrificing its quality.

In room dining from our restaurants as well as pastries and coffeee from B Cafe are also available.

There's a golf course?

The Marshes Golf Club sits right on the Brookstreet property, and it's widely recognized as one of the best public golf courses in Ottawa. Designed along natural wetlands, and the routing earns its reputation hole by hole, it's a serious course that happens to be on a hotel property. Non-hotel guests can book tee times too.

What are the rooms like?

Brookstreet has 276 guest rooms featuring original artwork, quality linens, individual climate control, and windows that open. Room types range from standard to full Master Suites, the latter being a two-room layout with a separate king bedroom.

Is there a fitness centre?

Yes there is. The Brookstreet is home to The Flex Fitness Studio, a naturally lit indoor workout area that connects directly to the pool complex.

Is there a shuttle service?

There's a complimentary shuttle to the Canadian Tire Centre and local shopping destinations in Kanata. If you're in Ottawa to catch a Senators game, this is helpful to know as CTC parking can be stressful come game night.

What do I need at check-in?

Government-issued photo ID, a credit card for payment, and $200 for a refundable incidental deposit. You get the deposit back at check-out, assuming the room is free from any damages.

Are accessible rooms available?

Yes, Brookstreet's accessible rooms are designed to go beyond minimum requirements with layouts and amenities that aim to be genuinely functional rather than technically compliant. If you have specific mobility or accessibility needs, calling ahead to confirm the right room type for your situation is recommended.

Does the hotel have EV charging?

Yes, EV charging stations are on-site in the parking area.

With no parent company dictating what happens at the hotel, The Brookstreet is afforded flexibility that other hotels simply don't have. The chef is free to tailor the menu how he sees fit. Where exactly is Brookstreet?

525 Legget Drive, Kanata, Ottawa's west end. This points you about 25 minutes from Parliament Hill, nearby the Canadian Tire Centre, and just close enough to downtown that anything you could need is basically right next door.
