Room Guide: Finding Your Perfect Suite

brookstreet • May 21, 2026

When it comes to the Brookstreet hotel, we aren't short on room options to make your stay as comfortable as possible. As Ottawa's only independent luxury hotel, we have a room for any occasion and any budget able to suit solo travellers, couples, or full families. Read on for the full guide to which Brookstreet room is right for you.

The Classic King Room

While the King Room may be considered premium at some hotels, at the Brookstreet that's our starting point. This room features a premium king bed, oversized windows, and the quiet that comes from being removed from downtown. If you're in town for just a couple nights or are traveling solo, this is the first room you should take a look at.

The Queen Room: Double the Bed, Double the Options

Second bed becomes the luggage pile. The clothes pile. The snacks pile. Some solo travelers at Brookstreet book two queens on purpose, and it's a hard move to argue with. The Queen Room is also the obvious call for friends on a trip together, anyone traveling with a kid who needs their own zone, or couples who've been in enough small hotel rooms to know that real space is worth paying for. Two beds changes the whole dynamic.

Deluxe King Golf View: The Room That Earns Its Name

Waking up in your King bed and looking out your big windows to look down on the Marshes Golf Course coming to life in the sunrise is something you should expect in this room. Looking out over a beautiful course energizes you for your day in a way a typical city view just can't. If you're a golfer this should be the first room you take a look at but at the same time this view is one that can be appreciated by anyone.

Deluxe King Balcony

This room gives you that little bit of extra space outdoors with a view that holds up. The Kanata location means this is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with the quiet that comes from not being downtown. This room offers all the comforts of the Deluxe King Golf view but with the extra balcony space.

Junior Suite: More Than a Room

After a couple nights of working from your bed on your laptop, an awkward area for your chargers, and no solid space to write, hotel fatigue can become a real thing on a work trip. Our junior suites exist to give you a better option. The suite features a king bedroom on one side with a separate living room and dining area plus a double pull out couch. Business travelers enjoy this layout to help keep their work, dining, and sleeping area all separate and organized.

The Master Suite

The Master Suite clocks in at over 850 square feet. King bedroom, separate from everything else, a living room, a dining area that seats six, for the kind of stay where people come to you, with a wet bar and two flat-screen TVs tucked in. Plus a balcony with Marshes Golf Course views that make the Deluxe Golf View room look like a preview. This is the room for someone looking to make the occasion a memorable one. Brookstreet's flagship luxury hotel suite does what it says. Book the suite and you won't regret it.

So, Which One Is Yours?

If you're still undecided start with the Golf View. This is the room that sees frequent repeat visitors and the view of the Marshes Golf Course in the morning are something to behold. If there is a special occasion you want to make as memorable as possible then go straight to the Master Suite.
