Getting Here & Parking
Brookstreet Hotel · 525 Legget Drive, Kanata, ON — in Ottawa’s west end, roughly twenty minutes from downtown Ottawa.
Parking is complimentary for all wedding guests. No permits, no validation, no hunting for a meter.
If the wedding is at The Marshes Golf Club, it sits on the same grounds and a complimentary shuttle runs between the hotel and the golf club. Leave the car at the hotel.
Flying in? Ottawa International Airport is the arrival point. If the couple has arranged group transportation, they will let you know.
Booking Your Room
Most couples set up a wedding block with a preferred guest room rate, arranged through their Wedding Event Manager. To book into it, you will need the couple’s names and their wedding date — the details come from them, not from us, so check your invitation or their wedding website first.
Staying on-site is worth it for one reason above all others: at the end of the night, you are already home. There are 276 guest rooms and suites, and the walk from the ballroom to your bed is a lift ride.

- The Marshes Golf Club, on the same grounds — tee times booked directly with the club
And if there is a game or a concert on at the Canadian Tire Centre while you are here: Brookstreet is the Official Hotel of the Ottawa Senators and the Canadian Tire Centre, with a complimentary shuttle to the arena.
Good to Know
- Brookstreet is a non-smoking property throughout.
- Dietary requirements — tell the couple, not us. They pass allergies, intolerances and restrictions to their Event Manager, and the deadline is three business days before the wedding, so send yours early.
- Ceremonies held outdoors — the Outdoor Pavilion and the Marshes ceremony site are both open-air settings. Dress for the weather and consider what your shoes will do on grass.
- Confetti, rice, table sparkles and loose flower petals are not permitted on the property. Leave the confetti at home.
