Bridal makeup application, with a trial beforehand so that nothing about the mirror is a surprise on the morning. Relaxation massage for the shoulders that have been carrying six months of planning. Facials timed far enough ahead to settle. Manicures and pedicures for whoever is standing beside you.
Book early. Wedding-party appointments fill first, and the dates around a Saturday in summer go quickly.
For Your Wedding Party
A spa morning is one of the few pre-wedding traditions that everyone actually enjoys. Treatments can be booked together for the wedding party, and it doubles as the calmest hour anyone will have that week — no one asking you a question, no phone, nothing to decide.
It also works as a gift. Couples frequently book treatments for the people who have done the most for them: a mother, a maid of honour, a friend who drove four hours with a car full of centrepieces.
Between the Wedding and the Rest of the Weekend
