at the marshes golf club

The Marshes Golf Club shares our grounds — wooded fairways, water, and the Gatineau Hills beyond. For a wedding weekend it does three things at once: something for your guests to do on the Friday, a setting for your portraits on the Saturday, and two more rooms to hold your celebration in.

Tee Off Your Wedding Celebration

The classic use of a Friday. Your wedding party, your out-of-town guests, or whoever needs somewhere to be while the rest of the day is being arranged around them — out on the course and back in time for the rehearsal dinner. A complimentary shuttle runs between the hotel and the golf course.

Tee times, rates and group bookings are arranged directly with The Marshes Golf Club, which operates under its own brand and its own team.

The Backdrop

The course is what makes photographs here look like nowhere else in the region. The Newbridge Ballroom’s balcony looks out over it. The Celtic Ballroom’s patio faces the pond. The Marshes Outdoor Ceremony Site sits on it. Couples marrying inside the hotel routinely walk out onto the greens for portraits between the ceremony and the reception, and are back before the canapés run out.

Two More Rooms

The golf club also holds weddings in its own right. Garden Terrace seats 120 at rounds of ten with a garden aspect, holding up to 200 for a reception. Ironstone Grill seats the same 120 and holds up to 250 standing, in a clubhouse setting. And the Outdoor Ceremony Site holds an open-air ceremony for up to 120 guests.

Weddings at The Marshes include the complimentary shuttle from the hotel, so guests can stay at Brookstreet and travel between the two without driving.
