Parking at Brookstreet is in our secure, climate controlled underground garage, which is located to the right of the hotel entrance. We also have an outdoor parking lot. The first three hours are complimentary. After three hours it is billed at a rate of $2.50 plus taxes per hour to a maximum of $13.95 plus taxes per day. Overnight parking for hotel guests is available at the rate of $13.95 per night plus taxes which includes in and out privileges.

We also offer Valet parking at $20.95, plus tax. Parking charges can be paid for at the Front Desk or by credit card at the yellow pay stop at the garage’s exit. (Please note that some of the outside parking at the front of the hotel belongs to the business park, not to Brookstreet).

Brookstreet is also pleased to accommodate our guests with a two-port Siemens EV Charge Station, (30 amps each), as well as two Tesla Charge Stations, (80 amps each). Charges are additional to underground parking.

In our underground parking garage we have two ‘chargepoint+’ stations for electric vehicles ($1.50 per hour for the first two hours, then $2.00 per hour afterwards) and two ‘Tesla’ charging stations (complimentary charging). No pre-booking is required, the charging stations are on a first come first served basis.

Free high-speed WiFi is available in your guestroom and public areas of the hotel such as Options Jazz Lounge, B Café, and the hotel lobby area.

Complimentary Access

Suitable for checking emails, connecting to social media and browsing the internet. This option can support up to 6 devices per guest room and has a speed of 2 Mbit/s.

 High Speed Internet Access - $9.95 per day or $19.95 for up to 5 days

This option is more suitable for streaming videos, watch Netflix, VPN into systems or hold video chats and can support up to 6 devices per guest room and has a speed of 20 Mbit/s.  As this access is a per day option, you can switch back and forth between complimentary WiFi and High Speed WiFi if you do not need the high speed access every day.

Brookstreet allows a maximum of 2 pets per room in the hotel. Upon check-in, you will be required to sign a Pet Policy Waiver, and we require a $250 refundable deposit for each pet in the room. A $25 per pet per night non-refundable fee is charged directly to your room. For longer term stays of more than five nights a $75 per pet per week week non-refundable fee is charged directly to your room.  Please note that pets cannot be left unattended at any time and you may be asked to check-out early if your dog is barking excessively. 

Brookstreet is a smoke free hotel. A $200 cleaning fee will apply to any guests who smoke in their room or balcony.

Brookstreet offers “Breathe Easy” guestrooms, which conform to strict hypoallergenic guidelines, featuring hypoallergenic bedding, air purifiers, and hypoallergenic room amenities. In addition to the 13% HST, there is a 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) by the City of Ottawa.

Cancellations must be made by 4 pm the day prior to arrival (24-hours in advance) in order to avoid paying a cancellation penalty fee equivalent to one night’s room charge plus taxes. Packages including components in Au Naturel Spa, Perspectives Restaurant and/or the Marshes Golf Course must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid the cancellation penalty fee.

Check-in time is 4 pm on your arrival day and check-out time is 11am on your departure day. We do our best to accommodate any requests for early arrivals and late departures. Please ask when making your reservation.

To hold your room for a late arrival (after 4 pm), please provide a credit card to guarantee your reservation.

We confirm the length of your stay upon check-in. If you do have to check out early, we require 24 hours advance notice, otherwise we apply an early departure fee equivalent to one night’s room plus taxes.

We provide a round trip shuttle service for hotel guests to the Canadian Tire Centre for events, concerts and hockey games as well as a weekend service to the Tanger Outlet Mall and the Kanata Centrum. We do not take reservations in advance for the shuttle, however upon arrival at Brookstreet you are able to sign up for it at Guest Services. Our shuttle service is available on a first come first served basis (there are limited spots available)

We also run a shuttle service Monday to Friday to the surrounding Kanata office building from 8am – 10am (leaving from the hotel entrance every 30min) and in the afternoon from 4pm – 6pm (The shuttle will circle the local offices every 30 mins, pick up will be outside the front entrance of the office building). The shuttle is available on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved.

Brookstreet has a variety of activities to relax and renew: Au Naturel Spa with 12 treatment rooms, Flex Fitness Studio, indoor and outdoor saltwater swimming pools, dry saunas, whirlpools, ZONE 525 games room, The Marshes championship golf course and Marchwood executive short course. Babies and toddlers are welcome to use the pools, we even have a special wading pool for them! However, swim diapers are required for children who are not toilet trained. Swim diapers can be purchased from Flex Fitness Studio for $1 each plus tax.
