A Star is Born
What do you do when you have shopped so much that nothing fits into your suitcase? Well, you could buy another suitcase. But then, what do you do when the extra suitcase won’t fit into your Lamborghini?!
At Brookstreet one of our night audit partners went above and beyond by transporting the extra personal luggage that a guest had acquired to Montreal on his day off. Just when we thought this was the greatest extension of service, the partner drove to Mont Tremblant (again on a day off) to collect the luggage and return it to Ottawa.

Donato is one of our Night Audit Partners and works the overnight shift where guest and partner interaction is minimal. Nevertheless, Donato has forged ahead and created wonderful relationships with both his fellow partners and guests. Donato’s joke of the day sets a positive tone every shift, his love for Tim Hortons makes me smile and he is never afraid to go out of his way to make a guest happy. Recently Donato took it upon himself to exceed one of our guest’s expectations.
In June, we had a European couple visit us at Brookstreet. As part of their Canadian adventure, they rented a fancy Lamborghini, shopped with a mission and ventured out to discover various parts of Canada. Our couple forgot that their cute little sports car would not hold their entire luggage while they traveled from destination to destination, so additional help was required.

On Donato’s day off, he drove their luggage to Montreal giving them the opportunity to drive there worry-free. Donato then returned to Montreal to pick up their luggage so that they could once again enjoy a leisurely drive back to Ottawa and Brookstreet. It goes without saying, these two Europeans are now guests for life. Did I mention that they were so impressed they have signed a negotiated rate so all of their business travel stays will be at Brookstreet?
