It’s never too early to start learning the game of golf.

The Marshes Golf Club will be offering one-week Junior Golf Camps throughout July and August on our European PGA-approved short course, MarchWood and our Marshes Golf Academy. 

The camp is designed to implement the core principles in the Future Links “Learn to Play” Program, Canada’s junior golf development program designed by the Canadian PGA and the RCGA. Future Links guarantees you a positive, fun-filled and exciting golf experience! Future Links is for everyone, from first-time to experienced golfers!

By delivering "Learn to Play", each camper will be a part of a national initiative developing junior players through a scientifically-researched systematic approach.

Each week the campers will learn important golf skills and techniques, as well as leadership, sportsmanship and etiquette. You will also meet a lot of new friends while continuing to enjoy the great game of golf!

Children from 7 to 12 years will participate in the following activities under the supervision of our counselors:

• Round of golf daily on MarchWood, our European PGA-approved short course
• Daily golf instruction by a CPGA qualified instructor
• Outdoor swimming at Brookstreet (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
• Snacks, lunch and games (2010 Kids Camp Menu)
• Junior Skills Challenge
• Prizes and Future Links Recognition
• On-line interaction and tracked progression through Future-Links.org

WHEN: First session starts July 5, last session starts August 23
WHAT TIME: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm (drop-off: 8:30 am, pick-up: 5 pm)
