Patrice S. Basille
Executive Vice President
and General Manager
Mr. Basille, a fourth-generation hotelier and a recipient of the prestigious Pinnacle Hotelier of the Year Award, was born in Normandy, France. He graduated from the École Hôtelière de Thonon les Bains with a bachelor's degree in hotel administration, and has held prestigious positions around the world, including: General Manager, Hotel Tahiti Beachcomber, French Polynesia; Executive Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, The Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal; and General Manager, Accor Hotels, Toronto and Bangkok. Before opening Brookstreet, Mr. Basille was the General Manager of the Hotel Wyndham Montreal. He is an active member of many tourism and hospitality organizations including the Board of the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation (OTMPC) and the Ottawa Gatineau Hotel Association (OGHA). He is also a member of the Global Hoteliers Club, which brings together individuals currently operating in the industry who have worked on a minimum of three continents. Recent honors and awards included the 'Chevalier de l'Ordre du Merite Agricole, Tourisme' by the French Minister of Tourism (January 2011) in recognition of his international career in the hospitality industry and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal by the Governor General of Canada (June 2012) in recognition for his contributions to Canada. In addition to the Pinnacle Hotelier of the Year Award (2008) Mr. Basille was also awarded the Hotelier of the Year Award in 2009 from the Ottawa Gatineau Hotel Association.

Troy Hughes
Director of Finance
Mr. Hughes has over 20 years experience in hotel finance. Since starting with Novotel Mississauga in 1985, his positions have included Controller for Toronto's Hotel Ibis; Controller, The Springs at Radium Golf Resort, B.C.; Director of Finance, Whistler Lodging Company (O'Neill Hotel Group); and Director of Finance and Technology for O'Neill Hotels and Resorts in Vancouver. |

Annie Corriveau
Casting & Wellness Director
Ms. Corriveau, a Certified Human Resources Professional, was born and raised in St-Nazaire, Bellechasse, Quebec. She holds a Hotel Administration Diploma from Canadore College, North Bay, Ontario, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality Administration from New Hampshire University, Manchester, USA and a Human Resources Management Certificate from Algonquin College. Ms. Corriveau held several positions at renowned hotel chains, including Fairmont, Starwood, Delta and Hilton, and joined Brookstreet in 2005 as a Styling Manager. She quickly rose to the position of Casting Manager and was shortly after promoted to the Director of Casting and Wellness. Ms. Corriveau, a fitness enthusiast and runner, balances her career with a busy home life as a wife and a mother of one little boy. |

Nyle Kelly
Director of Operations
Mr. Kelly was born and raised in the Ottawa area. After completing the Hotel and Restaurant Management program in 1993 at Algonquin College he moved westward to pursue his career in the hospitality industry. He held several positions within the Rooms Division and Sales Department at the Banff Springs Hotel and Chateau Lake Louise. In 1999, he then went on to work with Hostar International, a small consulting company based in Seattle that develops innovative material handling systems and applications for the hospitality industry. In his 4 years with Hostar, he was involved in over 20 hotel openings throughout North America and Asia. Mr. Kelly is happily married and is kept busy by his two healthy and active young boys.

Mark Nisbett
Director of Sales and Marketing
A native of Sault Ste Marie Ontario, Mark Nisbett began his career in hospitality in 1992. His experience includes 15 years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he worked his way through a variety of postions gaining a full respect and knowledge of the innermost workings of the hotel. He then migrated to the Westin Edmonton where he assumed the role of Director of Sales and Marketing. Staying with the Westin properties, Mark moved to Toronto as Director of Sales and then later accepted the same position at Westin Ottawa. Applying his extensive background in hospitality, Mr. Nisbett was appointed Executive Director of Sales for Ottawa Tourism. During his tenure, he was responsible for Meetings and Conventions as well as the travel trade market where he developed sales and marketing strategies to successfully direct new business to the Nation's Capital. Mark is actively involved in a number of industry associations including The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), The Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) and Meeting Planners International (MPI). Mark enjoys quality time with his wife Nathalie and keeps fit with a variety of sports, with golf and hockey at the top of his list. |
