9th Annual Lumière Charity Gala & 'It's A New Day' Golf Tournament
The 9th Annual Lumière Gala was another huge success with $55,000 raised towards The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. These proceeds will help The Ottawa Hospital Foundation bring the da Vinci surgical system to The Ottawa Hospital. This robotic surgical system is most often used for prostate cancer surgery, but it may also be used for gynecological, cardiac and general surgeries as well as research. Its minimally invasive approach to surgery means patients regain their quality of life faster and with fewer complications – an outcome we can all feel good about.
